Credit Oman took part in a webinar organized by the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade and the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) on the effects of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic on the investment and export credit with the aim of promoting intra-trade and investments for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The seminar, in which Khalil A. Al Harthy, CEO of Credit Oman participated, aimed at considering a number of issues related to the commercial credit insurance and the role of credit insurance agencies in the OIC countries in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the measures they took to stand by their customers.
The webinar also touched on the experiences of the insurance agencies and companies during this pandemic and the difficulties they faced to find appropriate solutions to get out of this global crisis with minimal damage.
Credit Oman continues its efforts to stand by its customers, whether manufacturers or exporters, in light of the pandemic and to provide advice and insurance coverage to constantly support and encourage the efforts of Omani exporters to develop their exports and increase the volume of intra-trade and exports destined for global markets.
