In cooperation with Salalah Free Zone (SFZ), Credit Oman in Dhofar Governorate organized an introductory seminar on the services it provides to exporters and manufacturers in the zone. The seminar included several themes, the most important of which is introducing the services and credit insurance options provided by the agency to manufacturers and exporters whether at the international level under the export credit insurance policy or at the domestic level under the domestic credit insurance policy.
The seminar also touched on the compensation that Credit Oman provides to customers as a result of commercial risks, such as the insolvency or failure of the buyer to pay the accepted value of the goods according to the export contract, as well as the non-commercial risks related to the delay in transferring the value of the goods from the buyer’s country and the measures adopted by governments to prohibit import.
On another hand, the seminar presented the information and creditworthiness of buyers provided by Credit Oman in cooperation with competent international organizations and institutions and shed the light of Credit Oman’s role to stand by exporters and help them access unconventional promising markets to increase their sales.
